Home textile product consumption upgrade, textile industry planning quality improvement
Time: 2019-06-06
On September 19th, the textile industry (home textile) quality improvement mobilization promotion meeting was held in Nantong, Jiangsu. It is reported that the textile industry is the first industry to carry out quality improvement actions under the joint guidance of the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine and the local provincial government after the publication of the "Guiding Opinions of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council on Conducting Quality Improvement Actions".
The home textile industry is a traditional pillar industry and an important civilian production industry. In recent years, despite the continuous improvement of the quality of home textile products, the effective supply of medium and high-end products is insufficient, and some areas still have staged and structural overcapacity. With the weakening of the traditional advantages of the home textile industry and the upgrading of home textile products, the low-cost competition model is unsustainable, and quality improvement has become an urgent need.
In this regard, Chen Gang, deputy director of the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine, clearly requested that the promotion of textile product quality should be carried out with the utmost efforts, the greatest strength, the identification of acupuncture points, the key to ensure the effectiveness. It is necessary to improve the quality work mechanism, adhere to the two-wheel drive of technological innovation and quality improvement, give full play to the role of corporate quality, innovate quality supervision and service models, and build independent brands with international influence. The majority of home textile enterprises should recognize the general trend of consumption upgrading, grasp the quality needs of customers, increase investment in quality innovation, and constantly promote product quality upgrades. In particular, leading enterprises should take the lead in applying modern design concepts to promote smart manufacturing and green manufacturing.
In addition, relevant textile and quality associations must strengthen the exchange of advanced textile technology, formulate group standards, promote advanced quality management methods, carefully collect international market access information, and support enterprises to resolve technical barriers to trade. All testing institutions, institutions of higher learning, and scientific research institutions must improve the support system for technological innovation and personnel training, strengthen the training of quality professionals, break the bottleneck of quality and technology in the industry, and strengthen the support of quality and technology.
